Toward the Trustworthiness of Industrial Robotics Using Differential Fuzz Testing

Intelligent robots are a current application in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), with their trustworthiness being topic considerable research interest. Vulnerabilities robot software may affect the robotics. To detect these vulnerabilities software, this study proposes differential fuzz testing method. The main idea is to continuously execute test cases for different versions packages inconsistencies among outputs and eventually discover vulnerabilities. First, generated, combining seed generation mutation, after which measured model visualization tool (RVIZ) built generated seeds executed. differences inconsistent calculated causes analyzed. Two evaluation metrics presented. This method applied crucial package ROS-MoveIt!. results show that arm.go() xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">moveit_commander has joint angle overflow.
